The water does go to SF. Engineering wise its an amazing system, gravity
feed all the way, but they say that the filling of Hetch Hetchy killed John
Muir. The system involves more than Hetch Hetchy as it incldes Cherry,
Elisabeth, and Kibby lakes, also. Most of the system lies within the
Yosemite Park boundries.
